Nancy Kline (Time to Think) says, "Usually the brain that contains the problem also contains the solution - often the best one".
So, if you already contain the solution, why do you need a coach?
Often our brains are mired down with fog, contradicting thoughts, red herrings, smokescreens, limiting beliefs, lack of clarity, influence of others; all of these hold us back, shield us from professional or personal growth .
A good coach will guide and facilitate, helping their client navigate to the root of the issue; not a plaster to provide temporary protection but getting to the nucleus of the issue so a sustainable, robust solution can be identified.
Just finding clarity can sometimes be all that is required to bring a shift, a solution, or it might take further exploration, tools, techniques, methodologies, understanding, self-awareness.
A good coach doesn't advise, doesn't mentor and stays with the not knowing; only then can the coach leave their own context, prejudice and judgement at the door and truly facilitate the client's discovery of their own best solution.
I hold an unequivocal belief in the resourcefulness of each and every client with the ultimate goal of empowering my clients to develop the skills, abilities and behaviours to stimulate their long term growth. By providing a safe, non-judgemental space for them to explore thoughts, develop ideas and clarify solutions using rigorous strategies we achieve sustainable, profound solutions.

About Me
Executive and Personal Coach
Following my career in HR and People Development, culminating in being awarded Fellow status with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), I wanted to focus particularly on people development and decided to professionally qualify as a coach.
I trained with the industry renowned Barefoot Coaching Ltd on their Postgraduate Certificate in Business & Personal Coaching and through their accredited course, and the number of hours coaching experience I accrued, I became an accredited coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Whilst coaching remains an unregulated industry, it is important to me that the profession is held to high standards in ethics, training and practice and myrecognised association with the ICF reflects my personal respect for and compliance with their Code of Ethics.
I also hold memberships with Henley Business School Centre for Coaching and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
Through skillful, insightful and incisive questioning, deep listening, and a range of tools, methodologies and techniques I help clients reach their coaching goals.
I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients, having complete confidence in their abilities and capabilities to discover their own unique solution and look forward to helping you.
I have three particular areas of interest:
helping professionals within the HR and L&D communities. From discussions with my HR colleagues, it is still often the case that these functions are the last to receive support and development, and yet are the ones trying their very best to support others. There is no HR for HR!
supporting female leadership. Great advances have been made across even my career timeline but we are still a long way off genuine equality. True gender equality also benefits business through strengthened integrity and a recognition and promotion of the advantages that females can bring to business and business relationships.
rising talent and transition. This is often a bewildering stage and early intervention of an individualized coaching nature irons out issues that can enable greater motivation and performance at a much earlier stage
